After so many months of continuous nagging, prodding and begging. I give in to my mom's wish of making a food blog and start trying (not! hahah!) to love cooking like her.

a mother's love

My mother would always remind me when I was younger to always wash my face with soap and water before bedtime. I never took this advise for granted because I know that this is for my own good. And true enough, because I heeded her advise, I never had problems with zits, pimples and acne. I didn't have to spend effort, time and money for all those acne treatments simply because I never had one.

My heart goes out to my friends who spend a good portion of their hard earned money for these treatments and medications that go with it. I guess they didn't heed their mother's constant reminders when they were young heee!!!

birthday present

My husband will be turning a year older in a few months and as early as now, I am thinking of what to give him as a present. Last year, I gifted him with a TV and a portable DVD so he can bring it to work. Now, I am bent on getting him a consul so he can really say that he's got everything already! I am scouting for nice PS3 players online and I have seen some that are really worth considering.

Aside from that, I am also thinking of getting him new stuff for his car but that's really not a priority right now. I know that he will be happier with a new game consul. I have a couple of months to decide before D-day. I hope I'd be able to do that soon. Any suggestions?

A parent's ultimate dream for her child is to finish her education. That was what my mom dreamed for me, and that is what I am dreaming for my daughter. I am quite lucky that I was able to finish my course with flying colors and this early, my daughter is showing signs that she is enjoying her studies. If she excels and she becomes consistent with it, we might ask her to try her luck in an online university.

My efforts of really losing weight for my cousin's wedding in October is going in vain. I am actually gaining weight! I guess, I just have to live with the fact that I will defintely look plump and ugly. So sad since this has caused me a lot of excitement because I was also hands on in helping her prepare for her wedding from the gowns to the caterers down to finding the perfect and unique wedding favors. Good thing, there's The Knot Wedding Shot for her one-stop wedding needs. We didn't have to look far. At least as early as now, all she has to do is to sit back, relax and wait for the big day!
