September is upon us once again. The heat of summer, the typhoons of the wet soon have gracefully took a bow to give way to cooler months and happier days.. Join me as I witness the unfolding of many wonderful events..
This month is Arthuz's birth month. As early as 2 days ago, I have been very busy organizing a superb birthday bash for him. Afterall, this will be the last time he will celebrating it as a bachelor. I can imagine all his friends present.. from his highschool barkada in Marist to his Lit friends in UST to our reggae friends down to his basketball teammates and the people at Amber. It will be a blast!! I'm planning to have a Ranger's Night on his birthday. Everyone should come in hats and plaids and boots. There's going to be barbecue and hotdogs and marshmallows. And beer. Lots of it. It will be so much fun. He will love me much much more for this. Harharhar!!
We have a lot planned this month. I have posted our schedule at the corkboard mounted behind our bedroom door. Here goes:
4 (saturday) - Roadrunners' Teambuilding and Farewell Party
5 (sunday) - Wedding Expo at the NBC Tent @ 2pm [imporant!!]
Spa @ Brickroad Fitness Center @ 5pm
Weekly Family Dinner
TXU Basketball Victory Party @ Pongkee's
11 (saturday) - Opening of Inter Call Center Basketball Tournament
12 (sunday) - Nestle NonStop Cheerdancing Competition [Push on UP!!]
25 (saturday) - Lai's Wedding @ Paco Park 5pm
26 (sunday) - ARTHUZ'S 26th BIRTHDAY!!!
See what I mean? For the rest of the days this month, we will be uber busy. Not to mention that in between all these brouhaha, we are starting to work on the smaller details of the wedding. The church is set. The reception venue has been settled. The list of the entourage have been sent to mom in the states. The first draft of the invites will be sent to me late November. And so with the samples of our give aways. My gown? My gown!! Shoot, my gown!! I have yet to speak to the person who's going to do it. I have been putting it off for the longest time. I want to see my friend's gown first before I set up a meeting with her. I would have to say that planning the smaller and less important details entails a lot of patience, imagination and creativity. Hay. This is starting to parch me dry. And I'm starting to become a mad bride. Bad. :<
