bahay bahayan

"Matanda na talaga kapatid ko". Eversince Shine got married, I always hear these words from my husband. I can tell that until now, he has not gotten over the fact that her baby sister has gotten married and is starting to build her own family already. For those of you who don't know yet, Shine is the only sibling of my husband so he was really overly protective of her from the very start. She was sheltered and loved. She was a princess and seeing her learn the things she never dared learning while she was back at my in law's place, makes me feel really proud of her. Would you believe that she only learned how to cross the street recently? And that she has a yaya even after her college graduation? So to say that this is a totally new life to her is an understatement. And just the mere fact that she is trying her best to learn - with cuts bruises, burns and al, you can't help but admire her. She wants this life. And no matter how hard, she is enjoying it. I am proud of you, my sweet little sister (we don't call each other sisters in law). Looking foward to more cooking and baking sessions with you. Ate loves you!

Pictures HERE were taken yesterday during their house blessing slash house warming. She and her husband Carlos got a place in a subdivision in Antipolo. Enjoy the photos!
