a good night's sleep

I love sleeping. This is one vice I just can't give up for the world. My husband knows it. My family is used to it. My close friends know that given the choice, I'd rather sleep than eat, sleep than shop, sleep than watch dvd/tv/movies, sleep than do anything else. Well except for things I am required to do like cook, babysit Lizzie and be a good wife to Arthuz (requirement talaga ha. hehe).

And for the longest time, I have been whining about getting us a good bed (complete with comfortable matress and fluffy pillows that don't sag after a month of usage). I dream of having a Tempur bed, Tempur mattress and pillows but of course, that's way over our budget. A Tempur Bed is worth 6 months of my electricity bill at its peak. A Tempur 25cm Combi Mattress can send Lizzie to preschool already (for a year at least!) and a piece of Tempur traditional pillow is already worth the frame of the bed that we are sleeping on right now :)

Priorities. Priorities. I know I wanted all of the above but there are more important things to think about and spend on. The narra frame bed that we had custom built just a couple of months ago may not be as super comfortable but it's durable and I'm confident that it would last us a lifetime. We just had to settle with this which is actually fine by me. Comfort without being expensive.
