Lizzie is on a roll lately:


*after dinner, we went upstairs to prepare for bed. While I was turning my pc on, she blurted: Mama, let's lesson na! Oh, okay I said.


Me: What do you want to learn today?


Lizzie: Colors


Me: (points at my pink tank top) What color is this?


Lizzie: Pink!


Me: What color is this? (points to my blue body pillow)


Lizzie: Blue!


Me: What color is this? (points to the yellow top inside my cabinet)


Lizzie: ahhm.. ahmm.. VIOLET!





She only knows blue and pink (and sometimes green). Violet, she likes the sound but she doesn't know which things are colored violet. Mental note to self: spend another hour at nights to review colors. Just colors.

Lizzie: BOY


Me: Mama is a ...


Lizzie: GIRL


Me: Lolo is a ...


Lizzie: BOY


Me: Dey Dey is a...


Lizzie: BOY


Me: Ate Jacel is a...


Lizzie: GIRL


Me: Mama Shine is a ...


Lizzie: GIRL


Me: Bob is a...


Lizzie: DOG





At least, at 2.5, she can distinguish a boy from a girl, and a girl from a dog. LOL! Note: Bob is her 3 year old pug.
