Two of my very very good friends are in a crisis right now. An emotional roller coaster ride, as one would say. After giving birth to a baby boy, the doctors found out that there was a problem that needed immediate medication. It's kinda serious that the baby had to stay in the hospital to undergo tests. My friends visit the baby twice a day to check on him and bring him milk. I am not sure what the real score is but I will know soon. This morning, I was supposed to meet up with my friend but we had conflict in schedules so we had to forego our plans of meeting up today. I have never seen her at her weakest. Back in college, she has been my rock, a source of my strength and everytime I grow weary, I would just turn to her for comfort. We have been friends for 26 years (she is actually the very first friend I have ever had) and in that span of time, I have only seen her cry twice, thrice, probably 4 times. She is a very strong woman. I will try my very best to free up next weekend for her, as I feel that she needs me really very badly. I want to know all of their struggles, I want to hug her and assure her that God has a purpose for everything that is happening in our lives. We just got to have faith.
