I love Chinese food and each time my family plans on where to eat during Sundays, I make sure that at least once a month, its in a Chinese Restaurant. In the years that we have been trying out different Chinese restos, I have grown to love Shanghai Bistro. For one, their service is excellent and the food -- from the appetizers down to dessert -- is simply delectable!!!
No wonder when my boss invited us for a "working lunch" at Shanghai Bistro, I couldn't help but jump for joy! You see, it has been a while since I last ate there (I asked my family to scrap Eastwood in the choices for our sunday dinners as I am here 9 hours a day, 5 times a week). At 320pesosesoses nett, you have the whole lunch buffet to enjoy. Today, they had corn soup with shredded chicken, pork siomai, mini siopao, vegtable dumplings, tofu, some beef with fungus (that's what they call them!), squids in vegetables, fried rice and pork in orange sauce. I asked for their house tea and goodness of all goodness -- the taste was heavenly!!!
True to their word, they really bring out the best in Hong Kong and Chinese Cuisine.
