lovely it is!

My IL's left half an hour ago. As I have mentioned here, my husband and I hosted an intimate dinner at home for the family. It was a brief yet warm, relaxing and fun night as Lizzie took centerstage again with her antics and new discoveries. She is such a charmer and sometimes I would wonder where she got all her wits, guts and nerves from? I mean, both my husband and I are very straightforward people, and we are gregarious, down to earth and people-loving creatures but Lizzie is of a different level. She is just too advanced for her age. Too advanced. Not that I am complaining. Am not. I am actually grateful and happy that we don't have to prod her to do things. She is definetely self-sufficient, which is nice.

My baby back ribs was a hit. MIL is requesting that I make another one for Easter Lunch. Nice one =) They brought prawns and palabok because Shine was feeling too dizzy to cook pasta. Food was great. The topics were as usual, interesting. We capped the night with wine and cheese. And Nerds candies for the little girl.

It's really all about family. I am just so lucky I have the best in laws in the world. I miss my parents (who are both on the other side of the earth) but my in laws make up for emptiness I feel. They are super and I won't give them up for anything or anyone in the world.
