a weekend of milestones

This is a weekend of happy news and milestones for the family. And because we are all happy, we deemed it best to celebrate by having dinner at Dads-Kamayan-Saisaki in Megamall. As usual, the little girl was a charmer. She gave us all a good laugh, plus requested the singers (like the ones at singing cooks and waiters and barrio fiesta) to sing Rianna's Umbrella for her. It was a night of good food, good company and happy moments.

First, congratulations and goodluck to my husband's new endeavor - a new construction business named AlvaRosa Marketing (for ALVArez and delaROSA). I may not be there 7 days a week, but my thoughts and prayers will be with you. Plus, I am giving up my rest days to help out (for a fee? lol!) Seriously, I am most proud of what you have achieved in the past couple of years. You are meant to be where you are now and you deserve all the blessings because you have always been a good man. Cheers to the success of our new baby!

Second, congratulations on the new toy dad (my father in law)! Don't worry because Shine will be hands on in teaching you the basics. (My father in law bought a hi powered Lenovo laptop with specs my husband and I are drooling over until now.)

And lastly (and the most pleasant of all), congratulations on the new imp, Panget and Mama Shine! That baby inside you is a sweet addition to the family and we can't wait to see his/her lovely face soon! Lizzie is super excited that all she ever mentioned in the car going home is WHERE IS MY SHOBE? WHERE IS MY LITTLE COUSIN? IS THE BABY OF MAMA SHINE SLEEPING ALREADY? AM I ACHIE NA? We are so looking forward to your delivery. Meanwhile, have a safe pregnancy and please, please, stay away from what is not good for you. You wouldn't want a tough delivery, do you?

It was indeed a lovely weekend. My mag-ama are bedbound already and are just waiting for me. The little girl refuses to close her eyes unless I close my laptop (she is so good at making deals now). I will leave you all with some photos taken tonight. Cheerio.
