aggie wants to know # 2

TOPIC #2: HAP-EE THOUGHTS

What are your happy thoughts?

There are just so many things that make me happy everyday. Friends tell me that I am a very easy person to please. And although I hate to admit it, sometimes I feel it's true.

My darling daughter - she is the main reason why work, no matter how hard, tedious and boring becomes fun. She's a joy to come home to everyday! I am happy that she is as healthy and as strong as a carabao and as smart and witty as a rocket scientist.

My loving husband - the wind beneath my wings. My anchor. My wall. I am happy that he is always well and he is always there for, 24/7. I am glad that now that I have the 5am shift, I don't have to drive so very early in the morning to go to work as he offered to bring me to work as long as this is my shift.

My parents and in laws - my lifeguard in the truest sense of the word. Not that I am asking because I am not. It's true when friends tell me that it's not my fault that I was blessed with uber generous parents and in laws. I am happy that they support all our decisions and that they are just there, at the ring side, watching if they need to jump into the ring to help.

My brother - I am happy for his daily SMS. It reminds me that whatever happens, I have a someone to come home to anytime.

Coffee in the morning - getting coffee at Starbucks in the morning perks me up! I am more driven to work harder if I am caffeinated.

0% absenteeism - this is a tough goal but seeing clean records in the reports sent daily makes my day! It makes me want to treat my staff pizza or burgers..

The maids - they make my life easier, really. There may be booboos along the way but just knowing that I got a good bunch of maids in the house makes me smile a lot more.

LBC box - a balikbayan box full of stuff for my daughter, husband and me don't just make me smile but makes me jump for joy. I love the smell of the box too!

Internet - gives me moolah, keeps me connected to friends, updates me with the latest..

My paypal and EON - money money money

I also get easily happy with simple things like seeing that my toothbrush has toothpaste on it already when I get up in the morning, sunday dinners with my family, a commendation from my boss, a surprise call from friends, my parents' weekly calls, market day, knowing that Lizzie didn't wet her bed.

The list could go on and on. I tell you, I am one happy person!
