history repeats itself

The former president was finally laid to rest a few minutes before 9 last night. It was a long, hard day for everyone most especially for those who attended the funeral. Imagine spending 12 hours under the rain and then a bit of sunshine then a strong dash of wind and rain again, just so you could witness the unfolding of another history? I wasn't there but I had goosebumps all over. I remembered 1986 when I was a little first grader. I went to school in Manila so the time of the revolution, my dad and my aunts would bring me to places where they can show me the tanks and the nuns. It was history unfolding right infront of my very eyes. And last night was another history that unfolded infront of my very eyes. I was so much into it that I almost forgot about that piece of office furniture that my colleague wanted me to get for our boss.
